AFTER-CONFERENCE BOOK
We are planning to publish a book of papers related to the topics of this conference with World Scientific Publishing. Preliminary target date will be November 1, 2007. Please let us know if you are willing to submit a paper for this book (approx. up to 20 pages) at your earliest convenience. Call for papers for this volume is below.
CALL FOR PAPERS FOR THE VOLUME "Matrix methods: theory and algorithms"
In 2007 we have already 5 years of the work of the International Seminar on MATRIX METHODS AND OPERATOR EQUATIONS in Moscow based in the Institute of Numerical Mathematics of the Russian Academy of Sciences. It was opened on June 28, 2002 by the talk of Georg Heinig. Then it grew up into two international conferences already held in 2003 and 2005 and the conference we are going to have in July, 2007.
We suggest to memorize the 5-year existence by publishing a book of papers on the topics related to matrix methods and operator equations, with an ever-increasing accent on structured matrices and their role in mathematics and applications. The papers may contain original results or surveys of the state-of-the-art of the topical problems of this beautiful and rich field of matrix analysis and linear algebra applications. We invite to submit high quality papers of approximately up to 20 pages for those reporting on new findings. Survey papers are especially welcome, please contact the editors re their lengths in advance.
We plan to publish the volume with World Scientific Publishing. World Scientific is one of the leading international scientific publishers,it publishes around 400 new titles each year and 90 journals in many fields.
The papers can be submitted via email to any of the two handling editors:
The target date for submissions is November 1, 2007.
